The Festival of Enterprise is nearly upon us, and your day won’t be complete without a visit to stand E34: the SSE Business Energy Spark Café.
The event for entrepreneurs and small business owners takes place at the NEC Birmingham on 23 and 24 October.
Our theme is sustainable growth. And our Smart Programme Director, John Abbott, will be talking on the ‘Scale up & Business leaders’ stage on Wednesday 23 October from 12.30-1pm.
John will explain that for growth to be sustainable, businesses must recognise the responsibilities they have to their people, the environment and society at large. Studies have shown that if you can demonstrate your commitment to sustainability, you can enhance your reputation and stand out from the competition.
New technologies like our next-generation SMETS2 smart meters can help your business grow sustainably. By understanding how, where and when your business uses energy, you can identify ways to improve your energy efficiency, lower your bills and reduce your carbon footprint.
So whether you’re attending on Wednesday 23, or Thursday 24 October, pop along and say hello. Our friendly team will be on hand to serve you coffee, and answer any questions you may have on smart meters, energy efficiency and sustainable growth.
See you at stand E34.
