Energy Live News Consultancy Conference Online 2020

Category : News

Hear the latest from us at ELCC which is back as a virtual event from 21-25 September.

Meeting TPIs at the Energy Live Consultancy Conference, which we’re sponsoring for a fourth year, is a highlight of the calendar. Energy Live has rightly decided to take ELCC online for 2020, to replace the event postponed in March and give you all the insight with minimal risk. Everyone’s safety is paramount, and we look forward to catching up in person when live events are allowed by the government and Covid-19 risk has reduced.

A series of content sessions will take place over one week from 21-25 September. You’ll be able to access content each day and listen to and watch talks covering all the issues that are important for the broker and consultancy market. Speakers will look at the effects of Covid-19 on the energy markets and our mutual customers, explore contingency planning and discuss the net zero challenge all brokers will have to advise customers on.

You can hear the latest from SSE Business Energy at two webinars. Our experts will talk about the green recovery following coronavirus, the challenge of energy system costs, and our net zero solutions.

The energy industry post Covid-19: third party costs and green recovery

Use of system charges and levies have risen substantially in recent years, due to the expansion of carbon reduction, energy efficiency and concerns around security of supply, all while we move to a more flexible, distributed energy network. Alongside these costs, Covid-19 has brought new challenges to the forefront, while the climate emergency and the requirement for a net zero future have not diminished.

Join Louise Innes, our Commercial Director, to find out how these integral issues affect you and your customer portfolio and our plans to achieve a green economic recovery post Covid-19.

This webinar will be brought to you live from 11am on Wednesday, 23 September. Visit the Energy Live website for full details and to register free.

EVs and green energy are here to stay: new solutions for a net zero world

As we rebuild the economy post Covid-19, we can seize the opportunity to ensure it’s a cleaner, more resilient economy. Our mission is to make green energy and efficient energy solutions as accessible for our partners and customers as possible, so that we can all proceed on the journey to net zero.

Tune into this webinar with Adam French, Product Development Manager and Oliver McMillen, Virtual Power Plant Project Director to find out about our new solutions for Green Gas and Electric Vehicles, helping us all grow sustainably and create a better world for tomorrow.

This session will take place from 11am on Thursday, 24 September. Visit the Energy Live website for full details and to register free.
